Things worth knowing
The express train only goes to Seoul Station
It runs non-stop between the airport and Seoul Station. For Hongdae, take the all-stop train on the same line, a limousine bus or a taxi.
Taxis cost more at night
Seoul and Incheon regular taxis add 20% from 22:00 to 23:00 and from 02:00 to 04:00, and 40% from 23:00 to 02:00. Deluxe and large taxis add 20% from 22:00 to 04:00.
Landing late?
The last express trains currently leave T2 at 22:40 and T1 at 22:48. After the trains stop, late-night limousine buses run roughly 23:20–04:50 on a few routes, and taxis run all night.
Buying tickets
Buy express tickets at the AREX counters in the basement transport centre or online. For the all-stop train, tap a T-money card. At T2 you need a ticket before boarding any limousine bus; at T1 some routes take cash or a transit card.
